Abstract

Capacity building can take place at many different levels, but three of the most important are: individual, organisational and societal (often referred to as the enabling environment. Though over the years ,many measures have been taken to develop collaborations for capacity building in the global south across multiple sectors there is still much work to be done, nevertheless these efforts demonstrate the importance of international cooperation and collaboration in enhancing access to justice and strengthening of legal systems in developing countries wherein such collaborations undoubtedly have the potential to maximise the efficacy of socio legal frameworks and devising such processes capable of promoting equality, ensuring accountability, and fostering community engagements to serve all individuals equally and can indeed make a real difference in the lives of the people.
