Abstract

Obesity is a global problem that shortens life expectancy and may result in partial disability. A diet with fewer meals results in insufficient energy and food intake. Even though there are many treatment options for obesity, it is rapidly rising to the top of the list of non-communicable diseases that impact most people during their working years. The battle against the obesity pandemic heavily relies on diet and lifestyle. India grows a vast range of crops, including millets like Yava, Jwar, Bajra, Chana, and Makka, which are eaten to stay healthy and avoid obesity.
